The Y-3 collection for fall/winter 2019 blends the brand’s German roots with Japanese aesthetics, while combining the ideas of past and present.
With tons to choose from, there were a series of reissues, as well as revamped court icons for 2019. That category includes the Y-3 ZX Torsion, which draws evident inspiration from the adidas ZX by updating the silhouette with the brand’s BOOST and Primeknit technologies for enhanced comfort.
The Y-3 FYW S-97 appropriates the midsole tooling of the adidas Salvador with updated BOOST technology, while the Y-3 Manja borrows specific elements from a Yohji Yamamoto favorite – the adidas Mangostin, which sports a low-profile racing upper with multi-fabric textiles.
The Y-3 collection for Fall 2019 doesn’t have a release date just yet, but stay tuned with Nice Kicks for the latest update on the upcoming capsule.
