Back with a vengeance and fully-loaded, WTAPS brings their militia-inspired aesthetics to Vault by Vans for their 15th collection together. This collaborative capsule is ready for war with a full-range of footwear and apparel offerings. From everyday classics to weatherproof tech, this collection is equal parts fashion and function.
Using WTAPS’ utilitarian ethos as inspiration, the Vault by Vans selection includes the Vans OG Chukka LX, the Vans OG Era LX, the Vans OG Half Cab LX, and the Vans Half Cab. Each style is dressed in tonal gray colorways and features WTAPS signature bones motif. This footwear range will be released alongside short sleeve tees in heavyweight jersey cotton with custom back graphic and woven label as well as crew socks each offered in black and smokey olive colorways.
WTAPS then employs their utility-first design perspective to the Vans Hi-Country & Hell-Bound LX Snowboard Boot, the Vans Standard Snow MTE, and the Vans Coast CC NS LX. The snowboard boot features V3 UltraCush with North Face Flashdry liner, a V3 PopCush footbed, and the V3 Waffle Superenduro outsole with all-trac cold weather rubber compound. The boot is secured with a V3 harness for the highest level ankle and instep support, as well as a Powercuff strap and a newly-improved 360° heat retention layer.
The apparel for the WTAPS MTE range includes all-weather jackets and pants. The jacket includes fully taped DWR-coated seams, welted pockets, bungee adjustments on the hood and visor, and elastic and adjustable pant.
The WTAPS x Vault by Vans Collection has a few different release dates, so pay close attention.
The first drop launches on WTAPS.com and select Vault by Vans retailers on November 5th. This drop includes the Vans OG Chukka LX, Vans OG Era LX, Vans OG Half Cab LX, and the Vans Half Cab. These styles will also appear on Vans.com on November 29th.
The second drop launches on WTAPS.com on November 19th. This drop includes the Vans Hi-Country & Hell-Bound LX Snowboard Boot, the Vans Standard Snow MTE, and the Vans Coast CC NS LX. This footwear range will also be available on Vans.com and select Vault by Vans retailers on December 16th.
