We’ve seen an incredible amount of people get involved into the custom sneaker scene recently. Few have been able to meet the standards that people would associate with the industry’s biggest players, especially when it comes to colorway creation. Taiwanese artist Nike The Real is one who has, tapping The Remade to collaborate with his creative company Wish You A Good Life to drop an Nike Dunk Low Pro SB CNY F&F.
Celebrating Chinese New Year, the shoes arrange the auspicious colors of the Year of the Ox with surprisingly well-suited conflicting constructions. The pairs are constructed from Vermeil Red suede & Ivory White panels with Fluorescent Green swooshes & laces. On the heel of each shoe is a Wish You A Good Life emblem, while the tongues display phrases in Chinese. The right shoe reads “Gong Xi Fa Cai“, a New Years Greeting, while the left shoe takes a more playful approach asking for a lucky red envelope, “Hong Bao Na Lai“.
Adding to the allure around this bespoke, the pairs are only being provided for F&F (though there has been a giveaway as well).
