New Balance Taps Vu Skate Shop For Collaborative 440v2

For its latest collaboration, New Balance has tapped Baltomore’s Vu Skate Shop for a street-ready 440v2 that perfectly fuses skate culture with athletic performance.

The Vu Skate Shop x New Balance 440v2 combines Vu Skate Shop’s deep-rooted expertise in skateboarding with New Balance’s commitment to quality craftsmanship, resulting in a sneaker that not only meets the demands of skateboarders but also captures the essence of street style.

This 440v2 boasts a sleek and streamlined design, featuring durable mesh, suede, and leather overlays that provide optimal support and protection during skate sessions, while the midsole unit ensures all-day wearability on and off the board. Rounding out the final details are the ribbed “N” logos on the tongue referencing classic New Balance. In contrast, the orange felt-lined tongue, custom chess-themed insole graphic and formstone-inspired colorway tell a layered story unique to Baltimore.
