For the second straight year, the Spurs teamed up with the non-profit Shoes That Fit to donate Nike sneakers to students from Gates Elementary in San Antonio. 200 students received shoes and to prevent any jealousy or bragging, each student received the same style of sneaker in their exact size.
Even more noteworthy, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and second-year guard Dejounte Murray were on hand to surprise the students.
