The Summer of the Nike KD 8 is upon us. With a wealth of new colorways set to launch over the next few months, KD recently offered up some details on the inspiration of a few upcoming styles.
Blending technical innovation and colorful narratives, the first is one that we are already familiar with, and that’s the Nike KD 8 “July 4th” – which follows his love for backyard barbecues. Further, the “V8” is creatively fueled by his Camaro, alongside the forthcoming “Hunt’s Hill Sunrise” and “Hunt’s Hill Night” colorways that are inspired by his early morning and late evening workouts at Hunt Hill that begin at the tender age of 11. Lastly, Durant touches on the KD 8 “Suit” – a colorway that honors his 2013-14 NBA MVP season.
