Designed to inspire kindness and positivity, Reebok unveils the VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon. VeeFriends is an animated Web3 group founded by entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, better known as Gary Vee.
The VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca x Reebok Classic Nylon was inspired by one of the 283 VeeFriends characters, all of which Gary Vee imagined, created, and drew himself. Through the 283 VeeFriends characters, the company hopes to make the web and the world at large a better place.
Each character has a unique personal attribute that represents the manifestation of metaphysical concepts and virtues such as love, kindness, gratitude, resiliency, adaptability, ambition, and more.
As the selected muse for this collaboration, the Aspiring Alpaca emulates Reebok’s mission to create opportunity, products, and inspiration for people to reach their full potential, as the Aspiring Alpaca encourages people to pursue their dreams.
Gary Vee
As a 1980s kid and pop culture enthusiast, you can imagine how thrilled I am to collaborate with Reebok. Everyone in the ‘80s was rocking those iconic sneakers, so I’m incredibly excited to extend VeeFriends to another consumer product like sneakers, which is at the forefront of popular culture. Working with the Reebok team has been a pleasure, and I can’t wait for everyone to rock the VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon.
Using the Reebok Classic Nylon as its canvas, the Aspiring Alpaca sits front and center on the sneaker’s tongue. Elsewhere, the sneaker maintains a relatively minimal look with a white nylon upper and grey suede overlays. The VeeFriends logo appears in the windowbox in a shade of green, which matches the iconic Reebok vector on the sides.
