Vans has been capitalizing on the DIY trend as of late with their Checkerboard Sk8-Hi Reissue Cap and Checkerboard Slip-On Cap silhouettes. Both styles haven’t been able to keep in stock on the Vans site, but now it appears as though a new rendition of the Sk8-Hi Reissue has surfaced.
This particular style emerges from the Vault by Vans collection, featuring a series of pony hair paneling with different prints, like leopard fur, tiger stripes, and even the brand’s renowned checkerboard pattern. Lastly, the shoe continues with the exaggerated toe bumpers, the Vans skateboard logo moved to the sidewalls, and the zippered application places below the eyestay for a personalized look.
The Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Reissue has hit select retailers overseas, but stay tuned with Nice Kicks for when the offering releases here in the States.
