Vans gears up for the outdoors with their most adventure-ready shoe to date, the UltraRange Hi GORE-TEX MTE-2. From the mountains to the oceans, this hybrid sneaker-boot will take you to wherever you’re headed next.

For its official launch, the UltraRange Hi GORE-TEX MTE-2 will comes in two colorways with options of Dachshund or Marshmallow. The Dachshund variation is a rich warm brown with black detailing and GORE-TEX typography on the quarter. The red laces and gold hardware brings everything together to create a classic hiking boot look. The Marshmallow colorway shows resemblance to a classic Vans Sk8-Hi, that has an all-white leather upper and black Sidestripe.

Both colorways of the UltraRange Hi GORE-TEX MTE-2 offer the same performance characteristics made for rain, mud, and snow. Built with three key principles in mind, this hybrid sneaker-boot incorporates moisture management, thermoregulation, and added traction to handle the elements. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit layer is waterproof and keeps water out while letting internal moisture evaporate, so your feet stay dry. The Zonal Primaloft insulation has an assortment of tiny air pockets that preserve body heat to keep your feet warm. The protective outsole tread pattern uses Vans’ new All-Trac Cold Weather Compound to grip a variety of terrains. Meanwhile, the UltraCush dual-density midsole provides extreme cushioning for all-day comfort and support.

The Vans UltraRange EXO Hi GORE-TEX MTE-2 is available now and will be sold alongside a corresponding MTE-2 apparel collection. You can purchase the full collection from Vans retail locations and webstore. The price is set at $170.
