This year, the iconic Half Cab celebrates its 30th anniversary of the iconic skate shoe that defined a generation of skating. Three decades later, the silhouette is still one of the most trusted, recognizable shoes in skateboarding.
Now, Vans is continuing to build a legacy with the Skate Half Cab ’92 as a nod to the future of skateboarding. The upper features a pig suede upper for updated aesthetics. A molded heel counter and locked-in tongues strap for support. Additionally, the iteration features a DURACAP underlay for added flexibility and durability.
Aside from the functional elements, a sidewall finish with the signature Checkerboard flag and Skateboard graphic treatment appears on the heel. As a final detail, the Half Cab comes in a dress blue and taupe, paying homage to the skaters that made it famous in the late ’90s and early 2000s.
