Vans has been raking in the collaborations this year and making major waves in the process. As a result, they’ve now conjured up an AVE Pro collaboration with New York based Fucking Awesome. Dropping as a pack of two pairs, the White pair is a Fucking Awesome online & Hollywood store exclusive. Read on below for details on the Black pair from the luxurious streetwear inspired pack.
With a predominantly Black upper, the true merit this shoe holds is found in the material construction. Black rubber toe caps are supported by mesh siding, with internals stabilized with reinforced DURACAP underlays. Interestingly enough, aside from the heel cups & tongue tag, it seems there is no stitching on the outers. Instead, the collaboration opts for Rapidweld technology and a Luxliner tongue give the shoes a luxurious feeling. Fucking Awesome branding is found on the sidewalls as well as on the tongue & heel tags alongside Vans branding. The translucent midsole meets an Orange outsole to round off the street-inspired look for this subtly luxurious pack.
The pack is already available on the Fucking Awesome Webstore, we expect to see a wider release on December 10th, though only for the Black pair. This pack builds on the previous collaborations between the two brands though is the first AVE Pro they’ve collaborated on.
