After photos of the collaborative effort between Nike and UNO for the card game’s 50 anniversary on the Nike Air Force 1 Low came out a few weeks ago, looks like the collaboration is much bigger than we thought and features reigning NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Nike Zoom Freak 3, Nike Offline, and Nike apparel.
“I want every product to be genuine and authentic, and playing UNO with my brothers is a big part of our lives,” said Antetokounmpo. “The Nike team has done a great job bringing my ideas to life, and I think they’ve created something for every Nike, UNO and basketball fan in this collection.”
The UNO x Nike Zoom Freak 3 features 5 different colorways, all representing the 4 colors of the game and the Wild card. UNO detailing are seen throughout, most notably on the tongue with the 50th-anniversary logo and on the medial Swoosh which features a pair of UNO cards featuring Giannis’ number of 34.
The cozy Nike Offline gets a UNO makeover as well, with the respective colors again appearing on the slide with UNO branding seen on the heel of the footbed. The Nike apparel share the same design language as the rest of the collection, with Giannis’ logo, UNO cards, and Swoosh all making an appearance on tees and hats. Lastly, a special Giannis-branded UNO card set is releasing featuring a new card that’ll “force a turnover” and bring a new wrinkle to the classic game.
