While news of adidas’ mammoth 13-year, $200 Million offer to James Harden was first reported last week, it wasn’t until this morning that adidas could officially announce his monumental addition to the three stripes family.
Nike had a week-long window to match the offer, afterall, but the brand decided the offer was simply too high, and feels comfortable going forward with their own stable of stars that includes LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Kyrie Irving, Paul George, Anthony Davis and many others.
