The Air Jordan 7 is celebrating its 30th anniversary and Jordan Brand is going all out for the festivities. In addition to the return of the “Cardinal” Air Jordan 7, a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 7 is in the works and Marcus Jordan (Jordan’s son) will be working on a remastered AJ7 as well.
The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 is inspired by Michael Jordan’s run with The Dream Team as the shoe’s inner tag dates to June 22, 1992, which dates to The Dream Team’s first practice.
Additionally, the shoe features metallic gold details with the Trophy Room logo replacing the AJ7’s signature 23 placement. The box and shoe read “New Sheriff in Town” marking the turnover of what would become MJ’s dominance as coined by Magic Johnson after The Dream Team’s scrimmage. The pull tab’s multicolor design pays homage to the Olympic rings, alluding to The Dream Team and their gold medal run.
A release date for the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 has not been announced. However, we expect the pair to release on Trophy Room and SNKRS later this October. Keep it locked on Nice Kicks and the Air Jordans release date page to stay on top of the latest news.
