After being delayed for 3 years because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the TRIPSTER x Vans ComfyCush Authentic Collaboration has finally arrived. Vans partnered with the Tokyo-based interior design team Japanese to reimagine the timeless Authentic silhouette.
Coming in colorways of “Stable Black,” “Passionate Red,” and “Pure Light Gray,” the TRIPSTER x Vans ComfyCush Authentic is split between a mix of suede on the tongue and nylon mesh around the back half. The upper sits atop a White ComfyCush sole unit that is complemented with other comfort details such as the ComfyCush insole and exposed padded tongues.
Finishing details include co-branded tongue tags, Vans-branded heel badges, gum rubber waffle soles, TRIPSTER-designed ruler laces, and a TRIPSTER measuring tape graphic on the insole, with a special shoutout to Tokyo.
The TRIPSTER x Vans ComfyCush Authentic Collaboration drops on March 25, 2023. The retail price is set at ¥12,100 JPY (Approx. $92 USD). To purchase, visit select retailers in Japan.
