It has been one great journey over nearly 9 years, but the time has come.
Effective immediately, I, Matt Halfhill, will be stepping down as the Editor-In-Chief of NiceKicks.com.
A little over six years ago in August of 2008, a young, talented, and hungry man by the name of George Kiel III stepped into my office interviewing for a position as a writer at NiceKicks.com. Six years of hard work, six years of dedication, and six years of bringing new things to the world of sneakers, it is with great pleasure that I hand over the keys and the role of Editor-In-Chief to George Kiel III.
While I had a very short lived college career, my greatest takeaway from all my classes (and one I love sharing with other entrepreneurs) was a lecture stressing the importance of investing into your team. There IS in fact an “I” in team – Invest in your team.
Perhaps a little more studying and practice in writing classes would allow me to articulate just how excited I am for what the future holds for Nice Kicks under the editorial leadership and direction of George.
