For the first time ever, Vans and Timberland team up to drop a collaborative footwear pack starring the Timberland x Vans Half Cab Hiker, an entirely new hybrid silhouette. The collection combines the best of skate shoes and hiking boots to create a footwear pack that is as unique as it is functional.

The Timberland x Vans Half Cab Hiker takes inspiration from the Vans Half Cab and Timberland’s Euro Hiker, a sturdy yet lightweight hiking boot that debuted in 1988. Much like the Vans Half Cab, Timberland’s Euro Hiker has been adopted by a number of subcultures and has surpassed its initial intent.

The earth-inspired colorways and outdoor tech have made the Euro Hiker’s sleek silhouette a wintertime staple. The design elements get reimagined on the Half Cab silhouette which features the Euro Hiker boot tooling, metal eyestays, two-tone round boot laces, padded leather collars, and rubber lug outsoles. Each pair is made from a combo of canvas and Timberland’s premium leather. The ReBOTL lining on the inside is made from 50% recycled plastic, helping keep waste out of landfills. The model is finished with co-branded Timberland x Vans elements and is offered in “Wheat” and “Chocolate/Olive.”

The collection also features the Vans x Timberland 6-Inch Boot. First introduced in 1973, the Timberland 6-Inch Boot is an instantly recognizable classic that’s become a streetwear staple in its own right. The waterproof boot gets a Vans revamp that features subtle checkerboard print on the sleek Black suede upper and an iconic Off-The-Wall heel badge.

The Timberland x Vans Collection releases on December 20, 2022. The Half Cab Hikers are priced at $160, while the 6-Inch Boot is priced at $230. To purchase, Vans.com, Timberland.com, Vans stores, and select retailers. Take a look at the collection below and follow @NiceDrops on Twitter.
