It’s that time of the year, again, and after a year of retros, collabs and all-new sneaker silhouettes, we at Nice Kicks need your help crowning the 2019 Sneaker of the Year, and there’s something in it for ONE LUCKY PERSON who correctly predicts THE ENTIRE BRACKET.
To tackle that, we’re convened and selected a pool of 32 of the hottest releases over the past 12 months, and we’re letting you take it from here with a single-elimination tournament of head-to-head matchups, pitting the best against the best until we have only one sneaker left standing.
And to make things interesting, there’s a prize of $500 worth of sneakers (no purchase necessary) for one person who knows the sneaker game enough to get the entire bracket right.
Here’s the rundown:
Every morning for the next 5 days from 8:00 AM EST to 12:00 Noon EST starting December 27, we’ll be taking entries below (and on the @NiceKicks Instagram Stories), where you’ll swipe up and make your picks for the day (you can submit as many entries as you want).
After that entry window closes, you’ll vote on the head-to-head matchups: (16 matchups on Day 1, 8 matchups on Day 2, 4 quarter-final matchups on Day 3, 2 semi-final matchups on Day 4 and the Finals on Day 5) via polls on our @NiceKicks Instagram Stories.
Anyone who makes it to the end with a perfect bracket will get a raffle entry, from which we’ll randomly choose a winner, and who will be contacted via email.
