Trae Young has established himself as one of the premier point guards in the NBA, leading the Atlanta Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals in his third year in the league. Not only did he proclaim himself a force compared to the league’s plethora of guards, but also established himself as one of the faces of adidas Basketball. Now, Trae is slated to release several colorways of his first signature sneaker: the adidas Trae Young 1.

For the sneaker’s first-ever debut, adidas has readied five different colorways along with supplementing apparel. The different iterations include “ICEE,” “ICEE Cotton Candy,” “SO SO DEF,” “SO SO DEF ATL,” and “Peachtree.” Each colorway pays homage to a treasued aspect of Trae’s life.

The first colorway of the collection, dubbed “ICEE,” reflects the point guard’s love for his favorite childhood drink. Everyday after school, icees were his beverage of choice. This pair is slated to release on October 1 for $140.

The next colorway, “ICEE Cotton Candy,” reflects his love for the puffy, sticky delicacy. It was his favorite flavor of ICEE, noting the different shades of colors in the beverage. The pink and blue colors are noted on the sneaker’s outsole. This pair is prepared to release on October 1 for $140.

The inspiration behind the “SO SO DEF” iteration arrives from Atlanta’s iconic record label scene, with SO SO DEF carving out the hip-hop capital’s music scene. Jermaine Dupri, the label owner, paved the groundwork for the sneaker. This iteration is prepared to release a month later on November 5 for $140.

Following up the previous iteration, the “SO SO DEF ATL” colorway represents the memorable billboards in Atlanta that let passerbys know what label ran the town. This iteration is set to release on November 5 for $140.

Finally, in standalone fashion, the “Peachtree” colorway plays along the infamous Peachtree and West Peachtree streets of Atlanta. The sneaker is covered in a bright vivid peach color, with the fruit branded on the sockliner. This iteration is slated for a November 19 release for $130.

Look for these upcoming iterations of the adidas Trae Young 1 to release in the coming weeks on adidas.com and other select retailers. Apparel will also be available on October 1.
