Teen Sentenced to 44 Years in Prison for Killing Student Over Air Jordans

We all know that sneakers are a hot commodity. Whether you’re an avid collector or just a regular joe, sneakerheads of any caliber can appreciate a fresh new pair of kicks. One thing that cannot nor will be accepted are the senseless acts of violence. In Richmond, VA, a 19-year-old has been sentenced to 44 years in prison for killing a student over a pair of Air Jordans. No one’s life is worth taking over a material possession. Not only has a life been lost, but another has been ruined because of such a stupid and heinous act. It’s acts like this that have taken the joy out of proudly rocking a pair of kicks. No one should have to be concerned for their safety all because of the sneakers they decided to lace up. Stop the violence and cut the crap, it’s not worth it.
