Teddy Sanits and New Balance are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 990 series. The Queens native is releasing the New Balance 990v2 MADE in the USA “Chrysanthemum” in a scarlet make-over. Unlike the duo’s past collabs, the two have decided to take on a more vibrant appearance.
Unlike the main lineage of New Balance silhouettes, Santis dresses his iteration in a two-toned scarlet base with hints of navy appearing throughout the upper. However, the pair includes its signature “N” logos on the side, followed by New Balance branding on the tongues and heels. For the finishing touches, the rendition features a sail-colored sole cushioned with ABZORB materials.
