As an extension of their adilicious series, Adidas stops in Mexico City for a bite to eat from Taquería Orinoco. The flavorful world-renowned taco shop inspires a new adidas Forum Low that captures the sazón of the food and its city.
After dedicating the adidas ZX 8000 to Berlin’s Ø27 Kebab and the adidas Superstar to Seoul’s oldest bakery Taegukdang, adidas honors Taquería Orinoco with an adidas Forum Low. The sneaker takes design themes from the taco shop’s clean Red and White decor and also features the restaurant’s logo, an upside-down pig in a tortilla, on the lateral heel. The upper is made with Off-White leather and bright White accents on the mudguard and Three-Stripes. Red highlights hit the sockliner and tongue tags which feature the adidas Trefoil and the Taquería Orinoco logo. The sneaker is complete with statement laces that feature the different types of meats served at the taquería.
