Continuing to craft standout pieces for Vault by Vans as he’s done for years, Taka Hayashi finds himself back at the helm for a new collection surrounding the spring 2015 season. This time, however, Hayashi digs into the vault to re-imagine the Priz Hi LX, which hasn’t been seen for five years now. Moreover, he again puts his unique design touch on the Sk8-Mid – a silhouette revered for its aggressive stance and extreme comfort. Donning two new colorways in navy and khaki, the Sk8-Mid takes to suede construction and leather sidestripe accents alongside rawhide lacing and raised toe box foxing. The Priz Hi LX comes dressed in an off-white canvas married to brown leather complete with perforated heel panels, embroidered ankle straps and tonal waxed laces.
