Coming straight out of Hawkins is the all-new Stranger Things x Vans Collection. This capsule falls in line with the hit series’ 4th season which is streaming now on Netflix. Vans takes the rebellious spirit and sci-fi elements of the show to reimagine the Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue, Vans Style 36, Vans Authentic, and Vans Old Skool. The collection will also offer a range of apparel and extend to kids’ sizing.
Kicking off the collection is the Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue. The sneaker is made with black suede and is printed with red vines. The outside panel boasts reflective Demogorgons, while the medial panel displays a bike ride silhouette from the show. The sneaker has a crystal outsole that has been “chewed through” by the creature’s sharp teeth.
The Vans Style 36 is for Hellfire Club initiates only. Taking inspiration from the show’s Dungeons & Dragons gang, the sneaker has a red and black crackle print. The upper is adorned with skulls, axes, and throwing stars inspired by classic D&D icons.
Delivered hot to your door comes the Vans Authentic, which serves up Stranger Things’ Surfer Boy Pizza. This sneaker revamps Vans’ iconic checkerboard print with mismatched panels and chaotic doodles featuring pizza, palm trees, and more.
Fans of the show will also have the chance to custom their very own pair of Stranger Things x Vans through the Vans Customs site. Offering a variety of Vans Classic silhouettes, you can create your own custom pair with prints inspired by traditional tattoos, 80’s skate culture, and more.
The apparel collection continues to bring Stranger Things’ sci-fi world to life with a Hellfire Club Jean Jacket and graphic tees, with one shirt featuring a vintage surf poster graphic with Demogorgons on shore. The apparel also includes a woven camp shirt and short set with an all-over repeat pattern reading, “Off the Wall / Upside Down.”
