adidas and beloved sci-fi franchise Star Wars are once again teaming up to drop some heat, this time focussing their attention on the former’s Superstar silhouette.
Following in the footsteps of a Princess Leia-themed UltraBOOST, this time around the duo is releasing a Darth Vader-indebted Super. The Star Wars x adidas Superstar “Darth Vader” features a stealthy black leather outfit that emulates the Dark Lord’s iconic armor. Rounding out the final details is a portrait of Vader spotlighted on the tongues and signature shell toes, while special Star Wars lace dubraes with branded outsoles complete the design.
The Star Wars x adidas Superstar “Darth Vader” is set to release in Japan on August 29 at select retailers and adidas.com for ¥ 15,400 JPY (approximately $145 USD).
