Every time adidas and Star Wars drop a new collaboration, both sneaker loyalists and fans of the franchise instantly think of ways on how they can get their hands on a pair. Following an homage to Boba Fett, the duo have now turned their sights to the loveable Wookie, Chewbacca, on a pair of Rivalry His.
The upcoming Star Wars x adidas Originals Rivalry Hi “Chewbacca” is crafted from a mix of leather, suede, and faux fur fabric that appears to be straight from a Wookiee. To give it a more authentic look, the “Raw Desert,” “Mesa,” and “Chalk White” colors were used. Rounding out the final details is a bandoleer strap that resembles the one Chewbacca wore in the movies, along with portraits of Chewie emblazoned on the tongue tab and inner sole.
The Star Wars x adidas Originals Rivalry Hi “Chewbacca” is set to release on adidas’ website on October 21 for £119.95 GBP (approx. $155 USD).
