Soulland, the popular Danish menswear brand known for its contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic, strengthens its resolve in sneaker culture with a highly anticipated Nike SB collection due out next week. Championing both a SB Dunk Low and High, we take a closer look at the latter here today.
Adopting the famed deconstructed theme found throughout Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” collection and Tom Sachs’ Mars Yard Shoe before it, raw materials strike the centermost point of the paneling and ankle collar while leather overlays work above. The “unfinished” style of design smartly extends to the tongue as well, while the heel marks the shoe’s “FRI.day Part 02” theme. Swoosh branding is of the largest adoration, as it’s masterfully doubled with the implementation of a jewel Swoosh.
