This month, Sotheby’s is auctioning off a pair of autographed Nike Air Mags from 2011. Finding a pair of Air Mags is already a tall task, but getting a signed pair from Michael J. Fox takes it to new heights.

Starting this week, Sotheby’s is holding is auctioning off a signed Air Mag in a size 13 that’s part of “The Future is Back” lot. Nike only released 1500 pairs back in 2011 via an auction with proceeds and sales going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkison’s Research. Originally, the sneaker was created as a prop for the film Back to The Future Part II, when Fox’s character Marty time-traveled to the year 2015 rocking the self-lacing Air Mag.

Sotheby’s is expecting the autographed pair to bring in between $30,000 to $50,000 when the auction concludes on Thursday, September 23. Additionally, fans of the franchise and sneakerheads alike can check out the pair in person from September 14 to September 16 during Sothbey’s pop-up shop at Fusedspace in San Francisco. The event is located at 1401 16th Street. For more sneaker-related news, stay tuned here at Nice Kicks.
