Vans Japan and SOPHNET. have unveiled their latest collaborative collection featuring two of its iconic silhouettes, the Vans Old Skool 36 DX and the Vans Authentic 44 DX. This is the first time that brands have come together since Spring/Summer 2019.
These sneaker pairs boast a monochromatic finish, using gray tones as an inspiration drawn from the concept of city camouflage in Tokyo. The design incorporates subtle features such as silver fabric tags, and understated branding accents, including SOPHNET. scorpion logos on the tongue tabs. The midsole and bumpers receive a glossy finish while the translucent bottoms display abstract graphics, rounding out the inconspicuous design.
