Early on the pod game with Obsessive Sneaker Disorder and schooling the youth on footwear via SOLEcial Studies, the rise continues as OSD’s Sean Williams has just been named a Rankin Scholar at Philadelphia’s Drexel University.

In turn, the SOLEcial Studies program has landed a residency at said school partnering with Drexel’s Design and Merchandising department at the Westphal College of Media Arts and Design.

For students in the program, SOLEcial Studies will serve as another avenue for learning about the fashion and footwear industries.

“With sneaker sales seeing exponential growth globally over the past few years, it only makes great sense to equip Drexel’s students with the tools to consider great careers in the sneaker industry,” reflects Sean. “I’m happy they believe in me as a partner to achieve that mission.”

The program at Drexel is said to offer interactive events, compelling lessons, and real-life application of the sneaker industry experience with the authenticity and PENSOLE promise the program has long been known for.

Big ups, to Sean and the OSD crew.
