We’ve certainly seen our share of sneaker inspired boots over the past couple years, but few have gained as much attention as the recently revealed Nike ACG Foamposite Bakin Boot. One of the busiest and most ambitious sneaker-boots, the new design uses heavy Nike Air Bakin inspiration toughened up by a Foamposite upper and a chunky Air Max sole. But is it the best Foamposite boot?
It’s certainly not the first as the winter of 2008 saw the Nike ACG Air Max Foamdome. The original Foamposite boot took a lot of flak when first seen but eventually became a favorite. Fusing the Air Foamposite One and Goadome, the Foamdome proved to be a hit embraced by snow struck sneakerheads.
