Sneaker Politics founder Derek Curry and ASICS are launching a special release of the ASICS Gel-Lyte III at the end of this month. This release pays homage to Curry’s service in the armed forces.
The Sneaker Politics x ASICS Gel Lyte III arrives in an olive green canvas mimicking the color scheme of camouflage fatigues. Tonal suede overlays and eyelets rest atop the canvas base, followed by ASICS’ signature tiger stripes in black. Highlighting the pair are tear marks revealing American flag motifs and “POLITICS” branding on the lateral ankle. Wrapping up the design are cobranded heels and an all-rubber sole unit.
