As part of its Consortium Cup, which saw 16 retailers flaunting their ideas on iconic Three Stripes silhouettes, Adidas Consortium will be releasing the bold entry from beloved LA boutique Sneaker Politics.
Dubbed the Sneaker Politics x Adidas Samba “Consortium Cup”, the bold offering features a smorgasbord of colors, textiles and patterns. Shiny blue nylon is used as the base with complementing navy suede panels and matching laces. Further elevating the pair are the fiery red Three Stripes branding and heels, as well as the leopard print liner and emerald green tongues. Additional design elements that make this offering extra special are the gold “POLITICS” legend where the word “SAMBA” would traditionally be found, and a Consortium Cup hang tag.
Although the competition was won by Britain’s Offspring in March, Adidas will also be releasing the entry from the US retailer. Entries from Nice Kicks and Extra Butter will also be available to purchase.
