Bruce Kilgore’s Air Force 1 silhouette continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Nike’s iconic silhouette has revealed a unique iteration four decades in the making. Now that year is more than halfway over fans can expect the Swoosh to push out more pairs before 2023.
The silhouette arrives in a sail-colored base with Kelly Green on the Nike Checks, tongues, heels, and “AIR” branding on the midsole. Highlighting the pair are gold-plated eyelets, followed by gold lace dubraes. Other details include a 40 debossed onto the lateral heel representing the 40th anniversary of the AF-1. Elsewhere, the upper rests atop an all-white rubber sole unit.
