Accomplishments: Became one of the better defensive centers in the NBA, led the NBA in blocked shots.

Accomplishments: Led Denver to a major playoff upset by stunning the top-seeded Seattle SuperSonics in the first round.
The adidas Mutombo II may have the edge seeing that this was the shoe Mutombo wore while leading the Nuggets to the first ever first seed-eight seed upset in NBA history over the Sonics. Yet, adidas’ ability to incorporate Mutombo’s rich African heritage on the outer shell of the Mutombo I cannot be ignored.
