Tell us a little about you and your position at the store: I’m 23 years old, and I own Corporate; Cincinnati’s premiere sneaker & clothing boutique. I’m just a cool guy that has been fortunate enough to enjoy what I do day in and day out.

What makes your store special? Customer service. Yeah we get great product(thank you Nike, Jordan, Adidas, DC life), but my team and I hope you enjoy your visit in the shop as well. We’re all laid back and all love the sneaker culture. This isn’t just a hobby, but this is what we have all been around our whole lives, so we take pride in our work. I think a lot of shops ego’s get in the way and they forget that the customer doesn’t have to step one foot in your door.

Shoe that got you hooked: Jordan IV black/cement got me hooked. That shoe literally pulled me out of my Penny Hardaway mode. I missed the ’99 release and had to track them down but got the Vindicate instead due to Eastbay’s swat program. So I was determined never to miss a release I wanted every again.

Last pair you purchased:I just recently came off a trip from LA where I hit Rif and picked up the French Blue Jordan VII.

Favorite pair you don?t own: Stash Blue Pack Air Force 1 size 8.5 please and thank you. This shoe was stolen from my crib back in the day and I haven’t come across it yet in a pristine condition.

Amount of pairs you own: Now? Around 150+. I am always trading kicks up for the time and getting something new. I hold onto my classics, but to me, its always been quality over quantity.

Top 3 of all-time: 1)Jordan IV blk/cement 2)Air Force Max(Word to the Fab 5) 3)Huarache runner(OG colorway)

Which upcoming release are you looking forward to?: I’m looking forward to the Lebron VII. I think that release is what Nike basketball has been needing for the market. Whether its inline colorways or special make ups this shoe is looking great for the consumer.

If you weren?t a… shop owner I would be an intern somewhere trying to get into the clothing business.

One reason why shoes matter: The only reason shoes have mattered to me is because I’ve met a lot of interesting people through them. I’ve met most of my best friends through shoe contacts or what not.

One reason you love shoes: They helped fuel my drive when I was younger to work hard for the things I wanted most. I took on a 40+ janitorial job just so I could buy my own shoes when I got to men’s sizing. The Jordan XV obsidian/white got my check!

One thing that you dislike about the shoe game: I dislike the competition to say you have the best collection and or sneaker. So what, that’s your opinion and your entitled to it. Enjoy the game!
Anything else you want to tell our readers? Buy what you like! Don’t worry about the hype we put on sneakers. Don’t be afraid to try new styles out, yes we all love the classics but even new product have to become classics at some point! Ya’ll got any questions the site is corpstat.blogspot.com and all my contact info is there for everyone to get at me.
