Although it may seem like just a few months ago when the Villanova Wildcats ran the table en route to their second NCAA National Championship, a new field of 64 is gearing up for more madness in just a matter of days. Pizza Hut, now the official pizza of the NCAA, partners with The Shoe Surgeon for a creative new custom that allows you to order Pizza Hut for tournament viewing directly from your sneakers.
In an exclusive release for Pizza Hut, the Shoe Surgeon PIE TOPS are custom-made featuring a marinara splash accent and hand-stamped shredded cheese imprint. A limited run of 64 pairs honor the number of teams in the hunt for that ‘one shining moment’ at the close of the tourney in early April.
The shoes will highlight a unique mechanism that works in conjunction with the operating system on your phone, allowing you to order a pie directly from the shoe’s tongue. It’s the shoe you’ve always wanted but didn’t know you needed.
Those lucky enough to secure a pair will be available to order Pizza Hut via their PIE Tops starting on March 3.
