Deconstructing a shoe has always been a charaactersitc or stylistic choice for a customizer. However, ever since Virgil Abloh’s deconstruction of “The Ten” collection, we’ve seen a rise in popularity of deconstructing customs.

Renown and revered customizer Dominic Chambrone, a.k.a. The Shoe Surgeon, is dropping his own deconstructed Air Jordan 1 pulling inspiration from Virgil and his predecessors. By using one of the favorite Air Jordan 1s that dropped in 2017, The Shoe Surgeon operated on the “Royal” iteration for this pair of customs.

This handcrafted pair is entirely draped in black and royal Italian suede. A limited number will be released for purchase this Friday (1/12) at 9am. You can find them at www.theshoesurgeon.com.

As always, be sure to follow The Shoe Surgeon here and take a look at the kicks below. Are you feeling them? Are you going to cop a pair? Let us know in the comments below.
