For the BEYOND THE STREETS 2018 exhibition, adidas is teaming up with renowned street artist Shepard Fairey to create an special edition of the Samba ADV.
Featuring sparkling white uppers, the Shepard Fairey x adidas Skateboarding Samba ADV has “Star Gear” sockliners and the artist’s name in gold foil above the signature three-stripes branding on the sides. Exacto blade graphics near the heel cap an all-white midsole and outsole, completing the sneaker’s aesthetic.
Releasing on June 9, the sneakers are part of a collectible pack that includes a skateboard deck and Montana spray-paint can. The whole pack can be purchased for $300 from the BEYOND THE STREETS gift shop, proceeds from sales will benefit Homeboy Industries, a non-profit organization that helps former gang members with services.
