Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson Named Reebok Basketball President, Vice President

The Reebok legends who faced off in the 2001 NBA Finals will work together for the brand.

Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson will once again influence the basketball and footwear worlds as Shaq and AI have been named President and Vice President of Reebok Basketball.

O’Neal will lead the brand’s basketball category strategy and form partnerships with athletes and organizations. As for Iverson, his role will focus player recruitment, grassroots/ community-based initiatives and athlete activations like the Iverson Classic. 

The appointment is a full-circle moment for both marquee signature athletes as they will once again energize Reebok’s basketball category.

O’Neal joined Reebok in 1992 and is famously remembered for his Reebok Shaq Attaq and Reebok Shaqnosis signature shoes. Iverson, who signed with the brand in 1996, would shakeup the industry with the Reebok Question his rookie season. Iverson’s first signature shoe remains one of the most important models in sneaker culture.
