NYC basketball legend in his own right, God Shammgod’s legacy is seen on basketball courts all across the globe, with his signature “Shammgod” crossover being a staple in a hooper’s bag. And to commemorate, PUMA and Shammgod teamed up on a collection featuring the PUMA Legacy as well as apparel.
The PUMA Legacy comes in a premium engineered mesh upper in white with a black overlay, using forefoot webbing for lockdown and stability. The back hall of the sneaker features bright red on the heel, with “SHAMMGOD” printed down the stripe on the lateral side. The PUMA stripe is stitched on the lateral side with the tongue tab featuring Shammgod’s initials in red. The speckled midsole uses Hybrid Foam, which utilizes PUMA’s Ignite foam and NRGY beads for impact protection and responsiveness, with a sticky rubber outsole utilizing the design elements of the upper to finish off the sneaker.
The Shammgod x PUMA Legacy is set to drop on August 21st for $110 on PUMA.com, NYC PUMA Flagship store, and at Jimmy Jazz locations in Dallas and NYC.
