| It was reported by several sources earlier this year that Puma was going to make a skate edition of the Clyde. Thankfully, given the history of the shoe this rumor was false, but Puma is making the Suede board ready with the Skate Suede.
From the photos, you can see that Puma did much more than puff up the tongue and call it a day. The Skate Suedes feature a thicker outsole, contrast sidewall stitching, a more robust ankle construction, and added padding around the entire shoe. The shoes also come with fat laces since thats what anyone would want to throw in these kicks. These Puma Skate Suedes were made specifically for Scott Bourne and feature personal touches such as a flying hour glass and personal mottoes such as “memento mori” which translates into “remember you must die” and “Follow No One” on the tongue. |
