Among the best NFL prospects in recent years at his position and beyond, former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley announced yesterday that he has signed an endorsement contract with Nike.
Revealing the news first via Instagram, and then later on Twitter, the 2017 consensus All-American calls signing with Nike a dream come true.
Barkley, an All-Big Ten first-team selection and the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year over the past two seasons, rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons at Penn State. The 21-year old tailback is projected by many to be the first overall pick in 2018 NFL Draft.
