An ‘80s cult classic was the inspiration for the Gremlin x Converse Jack Purcell seen earlier today. Decades before the Gremlins movie released, young fans enjoyed the never-ending battle of the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote. The Road Runner x Converse Jack Purcell pays homage to the elusive character, as his face is sporadically printed across blue, checkered textile upper. The busy upper rest on an vintage treated outsole that extends up into the rubber toe box. As with all Jack Purcell models, the shoe is finished with a navy “smile” on the toecap.
The Road Runner x Converse Jack Purcell are equally as elusive as the featured character, as they will most likely be available in very limited quantities outside of Japan.
