Two people were shot while waiting outside Sneaker VILLA in Wilmington, DE while waiting for the Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air” release. The shooting occurred at approximately 5:30AM outside of the VILLA located at 605 N. Market St, according to reports from the scene.
Tickets for the highly coveted sneakers were issued earlier in the week and one man who wished to remain anonymous stated that “this had nothing to do with that. I was here. It just gives the place a bad name. They were nearby, but it had nothing to do with this.”
At this point the only thing that is certain is that two people were shot, but whether or not they were in line for the shoes is in question.
