Following preliminary reports of a August 10, 2011 release, we have now learned that the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” will release tomorrow, August 6, 2011, at select retailers including the Nice Kicks shop. Featuring a Seattle Mariners-esque color scheme, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” possesses a Black and Emerald Green nubuck for the majority of its upper. White accents, such as the Ken Griffey Jr. branding and the laces, provide nice color contrast on this 1996 released classic. As stated earlier, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” will release tomorrow for $140.
