Update: According to Reebok, this Reebok Shaqnosis was originally slated to release on July 1 to coincide with Minions 2, which unfortunately has been pushed back until 2021 due to COVID-19. Keep it locked here for more details and find the original story below.

If you grew up in the mid-90s, basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal, then playing for Orlando Magic, was everywhere. From dropping rap albums to starring in the cult classic film Kazaam, Shaq even made a foray into videogames, with one particularly standing out: Shaq-Fu.

The game is now being remembered with a special Reebok Shaqnosis silhouette dubbed “Shaq-Fu”, and weirdly enough it comes with Minions graphics. The special-edition sneaker boasts a ubiquitous “Bruce Lee” black and yellow outfit and is embellished with Shaq’s “Three Fingers of Death” verbiage, and the aforementioned Minions characters found on the insoles. Finally, Asian-influenced embroidery at the heel and tongue, and snakeskin-textured rear booties help to round out the overall look of this very unique model.

No release date has been shared for the Reebok Shaqnosis “Shaq-Fu”, but it’s expected to retail for $160.
