Reebok has been on a roll this year, paving the road for a strong 2022. One could point to the brand’s in-line silhouettes as a reason for such success, with the Boston-based brand’s design team pushing futuristic, yet retro silhouettes to the masses. Among them, the Reebok Premiere Road Modern has been a fan-favorite. In its latest return to the ‘Bok forefront, the Road Modern “Dark Hyper” draws inspiration from night running.
When one imagines night running, luminescent colors and shadow-like tones are among the first to be thought of. On this iteration of the Road Modern, hues of blue and green are seen along the medial and lateral profiles, similar to the florescent running gear protecting a runner’s body in the night. Black tones are found across the tongue and midsole, similar to the color of the night.
The Reebok Premiere Road Modern “Dark Hyper” is releasing on August 1 in Asia on Reebok.com and other select local retailers.
