The Reebok BB 4000 II has officially returned and makes a comeback in four seasonal colorways for Spring/Summer 2023. To celebrate, Reebok is hosting a two-day “Vintage Shop” pop-up in NYC.
The Reebok BB 4000 II was soft launched in 2022 with some general releases and the “Changing of the Guard” pack. The ’80s heritage silhouette has transcended its time as a sports star and has shifted to a casual lifestyle sneaker, bridging the gap between hardwood and concrete.
For the Spring/Summer 2023 collection, the Reebok BB 4000 II starts the year with a range of timeless iterations with two varsity jacket-inspired “Letterman” colorways and the model’s first women’s-exclusive sneakers, “Natural Suedes.”
All four of the seasonal offerings use a textural mix of premium suede and leather. The easy-going silhouette and accessible price point makes this sneaker perfect for any modern wardrobe or lifestyle.
The updated BB 4000 II is elevated with renewed construction including the Reebok vector, a split Union Jack tongue logo, an EVA rubber midsole, and a durable outsole featuring classic basketball tooling.
From February 10th to February 11th, Reebok fans can pull up to 484 Broome St. from 12pm-6pm for an event full of NYC’s best vintage sportswear, panel discussions, retro games, and more. Reebok will also be offering attendees exclusive access to custom product and showcase Reebok’s SS23 BB 4000 II lineup.
Reebok invites Select Vintage and Grand Street Local as vendors for the two-day “Vintage Shop” event, giving providing attendees the opportunity to shop from a curated selection of rare Reebok archives. As a special gift, shoppers will receive a pair of BB 4000 II sneakers with every vintage purchase.
Additionally, LAST ONE LEFT will be on-site offering on-demand screen printing for second-hand pieces, transforming the garments into true 1-of-1 pieces. Local emcees DJ Mil-house and DJ 9AM will also be in attendance.
