1. Jeter Cements Dynasty

By 2000, Derek Jeter was respected around many circles as being well on his way to becoming the next “Great Yankee.” Like the legends prior, Jeter would be able to ascend to new heights as he dominated the 2000 World Series, thus cementing the Yankees dynasty as it would mark three straight titles.  In addition, Jeter received his first and only World Series MVP during this particular Fall Classic. While the accolades are momentous, it is even more impressive to know that Jeter excelled all while sporting an all-black PE of the the Air Jordan 11. Whether it was during game one or game four, Jeter proved he was a bonafide superstar within the majors.
